The Filipinetti X1/9 PDF Print E-mail

The Filipinetti X1/9 was presented first at the Geneva Motor Show on 15/3/1973- 25/3/1973 as the first Fiat X1/9 race car. It was built in coorporation with Fiat by the genious technician and racer Mike Parkes who has later developed and built the Lancia Stratos.



Technical Data:

There is more than one information about the engine specification. Which one is documented is unclear at the moment:  

Modified stock engine with Lucas Injection:

  • engine capacity: 1290 ccm
  • fuel injection system: Lucas
  • power: 160PS @ 8600 rpm
  • top speed: 210km/h
  • number of cylinders: 4

With Dallara head: 

  • engine capacity: 1290 ccm
  • power: 220PS
  • top speed: 240km/h
  • number of cylinders: 4

Other engine specs :

  • fuel injection system: Kugelfischer
  • power: 190PS @ 10300 rpm
  • top speed: 210km/h
